Spiders STILL can't appreciate art

Just remember that when you look at the web page, the more it is covered with items a spider cannot read, the less the spider will be able to judge it for ranking. So, if you have large images, where you could otherwise opt for normal text, always go for the text.

We are not lost on the fact that many of the elements that make your pages compelling and attractive to a human, hurt you in Search Engine rankings, so do consider a balance. Your site does not need to be all text and no images, you just need to discover a good balance between the two.
